Excellent location, the room was very spacious and beds were comfy. This hotel is ideally situated, only a short distance to attractions.

Very nice, modern and clean facilities

I arrived and when I paid for the terminal it didn't work, they made me swipe my card 3 times and I was charged 3 times, the card reached its limit because I was charged but they weren't, I swiped another card in another terminal and there everything was fine... the whole process took about 3 hours and I didn't want to give up the room because I was showing them the application from my bank where the charge had been made... the worst experience because thanks to their useless terminal I have 3 charges retained without being able to use my card. The last day I went down at 9 o'clock for breakfast or they had already taken everything (I did not know the schedule) the lady there was super rude scolding me, saying that I should wake up early ... so what happens! I would NEVER come back, it's the worst stay I've ever been through

With the Metro station (Vermont Beverly) only 50 m from the hotel, it is excellently located even if the hotel is not in the city centre. Easy to travel to Hollywood and Universal Studios as well as to lax using public transportation (6 usd a day). The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Moreover, the room was really spacious and with a high ceiling (3rd floor). The continental breakfast was the best so far with eggs and cheese.

I liked the room and the free breakfast.

I did not like the area around the hotel.

It's a nice place, me being there for the first time.. I made my reservations online for a king room and called before to check if the room had a Jacuzzi and I was told it did.. Once I got to the hotel came to my surprise the room didn't have a jacuzzi and the price would change.. so I explained to the rep that I had called before time and was told my room had a Jacuzzi and the price would be the same.. so the rep apologized for the misunderstanding and gave me a suite with Jacuzzi for the same price I was paying! Now that's good customer service! we went out to dinner when we came back they had cleaned up the room, nice and clean! I can't complain everything was good..

Close to public transport.

Low quality internet (even worst than dial up internet). Night shift manager is not concern about guests. 3am I waked up with terrified noise from pipes and asked night shift manager to check for that. He did anything and Noise was continued for 30 min.

Its very near to the public transport and train walking distance. Filipino restaurant liked Jollibee, Red Ribbon, Goldilocks etc are walking distance. Nearby to Vons and Ralphs supermarket.

Airconditioning is not properly working. but manage as the weather is quite cold at night.

Great value hotel ideally situated for exploring by public transport around the city

It was a pleasant stay, clean, staff was helpfully, close to the free and only 2 blocks away from universal studio. The room were very clean. Enjoyed my stay.

Everything was pretty nice for the price that we paid

it was close to the apartment of my brother. housekeeping lady was nice.

the place was run down. the breakfast area was small and the staff running we requested non smoking rooms but were given smoking ones. it was not near universal studio. it was more like korea town. just to be accurate. they should fix up the elevators and the hall way. the place is packed. the near universal studio tag gets them everytime.

We did like that from the very beginning they put on hold the amount of estmated parking charges, though were not going use their parking lot. The interior needs renovation.

My son and I visited durning spring break and while we were there the staff was so nice and helpful. They went the extra mile to help us. So when we decided to come down to L.A to see the space shuttle, it was no question where we were going to stay. When we arrived they remembered us. That was great!

No pool

they need to update the carpet and of course the drappery are very dirty and unsanitary molds on the dapery.

We chose this hotel beacause of the proximity of the highway (only a block) and its low-cost for a L.A. hotel. The breakfast was ok, The room was clean and the staff polite.

The food offered for breakfast was ok, but finished really early (9:00) and they stop refilling food around 8:30. So no more bread and no more yogourt if you want to sleep a bit late. The breakfast room doesn't have many seating places and was crowded. The day we arrived the elevator was in repair, so we had to carry our luggage 3 flights of stairs. All in all, not bad and I would recommend it, but not if you are used to luxury or you are looking for a romantic experience.
